Philadelphia Film Festival Spring Preview- Philadelphia FIlm Society lets you sneek a peek at their 11 feature films that will be shown for FREE. Features depictions of alchemy in paintings and drawings from the 17th to 19th centuries. By appointment only.
SATURDAY
Philadelphia Theatre Alliance PSA campaige- (Public Service Announcement) Through April 30th huge casting calls at city landmarks to interview Joe Public for an upcoming PSA celebrating Philly's theatre audience. Philadelphia on Stone- The exhibition explicates the history and process of lithography, documents the professional and personal lives of premier and journeymen lithographers, and includes selections from the Philadelphia lithographs discovered at many institutions. Romeo and Juliet- Playing at the Arden. For $5 you can get in to see it if you have a student id, which is way cheaper and way more entertaining then the movies, so what are you waiting for? (Ardentheatre.org for more information)
PROJECT H.O.M.E.S's 20th anniversary celebration- 74 pieces of art by 21 formerly homeless people who were helped out by project H.O.M.E. At the community art gallery on 1234 Market St. (Runs through April 14th)
