Local Comedy groups Color-by-Numbers and King- Friday @ 401 S. Broad 8 pm $10. A sketch comedy show centered around the American Dream. Very funny, very worth the $10. I went to another show of theirs and had a great time. I feel like one of those people in NYC, "do you like to laugh?", but seriously if you like to laugh go. BYOB...yup you can get drunk while you watch this.

WXPN's Free at noon- At the world cafe live free (duh) at noon (duh) go hear some live music fool.Daly's Irish Pub Drag Show- Who doesn't love a drag show? Only terrible people don't. This is a free one for those of you who are over 21 at Daly's Irish Pub on 4201 Comly St.

Punk/Metal show with SCAV, Hot Graves, and Occultist @ JR's (22nd/Passyunk) ...8 pm $5

Critical Mass: Giant bike ride beginning at 6 pm @ City Hall. If you have never done critical mass before it really is a must. People get so silly for it, especially now that it's nice out again. You will see people drinking on bikes and chasing eachother around and showing off. Also, you will see people yelling at cars, kicking cars, stopping traffic, and standing with all their bikes held over their head at an intersection because a driver was being a jerk. This is not just for the experienced bike rider, it is a long ride, but it goes pretty slowly, even newbies could keep up.

Lawrence Schoen (Science Fiction)- American author, publisher, psychologist, and expert in klingon (the language). Come hear him talk at 7:30 at 110 S. 13th St at Robin's Bookstore. Free.

Astro Vintage- 1 year anniversary party. Special 10% off today. There will be drinks and some light snacks. Volklibre!- Not sure what this is exactly, it is free however, so I'm just gonna copy and paste from their website. "We're going to have our first meeting to give people an overview, get feedback & insight and set some plans into motion. Beyond Spoken Word- Poetry reading and artist interviews from 1-2:30, and then from 2:30-4 is a potluck dinner. They ask that everyone brings a dish, they also ask for a $7 donation, however made it clear that they won't send anybody away if they don't have the money.

A celebration of Light: Honoring Lucille Clifton- Come celebrate the life of Lucille Clifton (a poet) on this day which would have been her birthday. Bring your own refreshments 4-7. @110 S. 13th St at Robin's Bookstore. Free.
